Built on the Front Range. Photographed at golden hour.

A decade of selected projects across Colorado Springs, Black Forest, Monument, and Manitou. Each one started with a walk-through and ended with a yard that finally made sense for the people who live there.

Full landscape renovation in Broadmoor neighborhood

A 1970s lot, pulled into this century.

A long, shaded lot in Broadmoor hadn't been touched since the house was built. Cracked concrete, struggling bluegrass, and Juniper beds that had grown into a wall.

We removed 4,200 square feet of failing turf, regraded for drainage off the foundation, and rebuilt the driveway apron in large-format bluestone. The back yard became three rooms: a covered flagstone dining patio off the kitchen, a fire-pit terrace down the slope, and a quiet reading bench tucked into an aspen grove. A Rachio smart controller manages seven zones, all running drip or MP rotator heads.

Engineered stone retaining wall in Black Forest

Three tiers, one hillside won back.

The back of the house sat 11 feet above a slope that was giving up. Every storm added erosion, every summer added more weeds.

We engineered three stepped walls in split-face block — 4 ft, 5 ft, and 3 ft — with geogrid on each lift and a full perforated drain system daylighting downhill. Between the walls we planted rabbitbrush, mugo pine, and Karl Foerster grass for winter structure. The new terraces added 840 sq ft of usable garden space and stopped the erosion cold.
